Astonishing shows... Amazing decoration. The place to be too see old and new school musicals the real broadway way. The average and ofordable seats are well placed and comfortable. The bar is amazing as well, and has a great service too. Will return for sure for another show (Was watching Charlie and de Chocolate Factory)

I love it because it is nice anf cosy

Saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory the week before and I was so memorised with the architecture of the building that I booked a theatre tour of the Theatre Royal for the week after, and what an experience. I had a one to one tour front and back stage (as I was only one that had booked that particular time). Wow! What a privelege. Gaining access to the ornate King's room and the Royal box, to the main auditorium, then going onto the side of the stage and seeing all the props, as well as going underneath the stage and seeing all the workings. On top of that listening to a fascinating history of theatre in the UK as well as everything about the history and day to day running of the theatre - an hour that will always remain with me. Highly recommended.

Very classic theatre. Seats are the usual, close together style, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. You could see the stage from any seat in the house, and they had a fun selection of snacks.
