You want pancakes or ribs at 12 o'clock at night? You need to go to pancakes on the rocks. It's a great place for big portion food for a good value of money. The pancakes are of course amazing but I also enjoyed the salads they had. The atmosphere reminds me of an old coffee place from the 70s um the background and on the TVs you can hear music from the last decades. A must if you are at the rocks!

We went there for a family dinner for 5. We visited the restaurant at The Rocks and we were surprised that there was a long queue on a Tuesday night. A busload of Chinese tourists descended upon the restaurant. With two major hotels on the other block, this place must have brisk business. We debated on whether to wait or move on but after 15 minutes, we were up for a table. Service was quick and efficient, servers were pleasant and accommodating, portions were large and pancakes were sized for two, menu was a large selection including salads, pizza, steak, seafood and ribs. Also a variety in drinks to suit any palate. If you've got a sweet tooth, ask for additional pancake syrup. The toilets in the adjacent Shopping Centre close around 8, I think. This is a 2-storey establishment. We had a family member with walking difficulties and she has to go down a flight of stairs to reach the landing. I doubt if it's wheelchair friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here.

Let's be honest, who hasn't woken up at 3am and craved some form of sugary, creamy, sweet (or perhaps even savoury) pancake meal?! No one! This joint is open 24 hours and when we rocks up at midnight, it was still half full, and for good reason. You can't really go wrong with pancakes so naturally I'm going to say the food was delicious. They offer a huge range of pancakes and crepes, alongside plenty of other options like breakfast food and pizzas. This place is well worth a visit, and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it was uncharacteristicly cold that night and they left the door open. Otherwise, top marks!

Have been to this particular branch since I was 16, it's been 12 years and I must say the service and the pancakes have maintained all these years. Am only giving it four stars because the pork ribs used to be the best I've ever had, the sauce was very tasty and portion was perfect. Nowadays the wedges have decreased at least 50% in portion, sweet and sour sauce plus sour cream is charged at $2 each (they used to come with free) and the sauce is just not as strong flavoured as it used to be. I would much prefer increasing the price but leaving everything else the same.

This place is definitely a hot spot for tourists. It gets very busy over the weekend so try and go in during the week if you can. Decent menu with limited vegetarian options, sorry vegans there is nothing much here for you besides nice coffee / juices and good vibes.
