Very beautiful place to shoot photos. The city is very romantic and artistic. It takes about 2h to walk around the whole city but there is so much more to see if you grab yourself a guide. It is pricey out there but well worth it. Definitely travel by train rather than car as the parking is super expensive.

Venice trip can be started from this central station. These are photos right opposite to central station. Very well connected place.

Very limited seatings for passengers waiting for the train. Oddly lacking any ramps for rolling suitcases, as if people don't already drag their suitcases enough all over Venice. There is one ramp near the water bus stop but it's a ways away from the station, and of course it's not covered so you'll soak when it rains. If you are in anyway needing accessible ramps or otherwise have mobility challenges, this train station will be like an American Ninja Warrior course for you.

Nice building but you probably will not stay in the building for very long. The boats are directly outside to take you to different parts of Venice. Use the bathroom on the train because you have to pay for the restrooms at the station and in Venice.

Rudolf Strutz

There are nice places to wait for the trains, but if there would be a monitor informing, where the trains leave from (platform) that would earn the station at least one or two stars. Right now, it’s a „no-go“.
