DOV: 17Feb2014 This is a historical house museum with very peculiar construction and beautiful art works interior. This area is preserved old royal City of Portugal. The total place is excellent to walk through with good hilly areas. If you are in Lisbon, its a place to visit. Photos posted contains nearby areas too.

Kind of difficult to get to but so worth it. A beautiful hike up (if you don't hire a vehicle). There are rock climbing routes on the way up as well. You'll definitely get your workout in and the views are incredible, standing in a cloud!

Interesting Structure to View! Cool historic structure to view but compared to the other palaces and attractions in Sintra, this one you can miss as the 10 Euro admission may not be as worthwhile compared to other palaces. Pass by, stop by snap a couple of photos and walk around it and move on to other attractions as your time is precious in Sintra!

Interesting place. Ugly decorations inside (in my opinion) but i guess it was the taste of the owners back then... definitely a must see place anyway! Beautiful view from the terace.

This is easily one of the most interesting places in Portugal. The air is rich with history, and the grounds are beautiful! For hundreds of years, this was the residence of Portugal's kings. Definitely worth the trip! Incidentally, the two tall white cones of the palace (which you can see a mile away) were built to draw smoke away from the massive kitchen.
