Much better than I expected! Lots to buy! There isn’t much haggling, vendors have lots of tourist to sell to. So pick a reasonable amount you’d like to spend. There’s some great finds in the market. Just have patience for them. I really liked the personalized leather goods. Great souvenirs. Lots of snack options - coconut ice cream was fantastic, as are the readily available mangos. I spent a couple hours and just got through a couple sections. Wear comfy shoes, and a cross body purse (for safe keeping). Also recommend taking your own zipped tote for all the goods you buy.

Hi, guys. Here are so many good reviews of this market. So, I am going to say something negative. The market is okay, but my phone got stolen when I was walking around with my friends. I don't go to this kind of places normally that's why I just didn't take care of that. As same as 2 years after which is my fruit time here in Bangkok, something happened near the grand palace. My Thai friend is helping me to talk to the police, even though it doesn't make sense. Take care of yourselves, then you can enjoy this country.

It's convenient in the sense that you can practically find all the common souvenirs, snacks, clothes, bags, beauty products, phone accessories, etc. at one place. However, prices are higher than other places, even after you have bargained for the price. Price for convenience i suppose. Food is slightly more expensive as well, being that its a tourist spot. And nothing to shout about as well. There are some gems that i accidentally ran into like one of the cafes serving damn good coffee and a shop selling charcoal grilled honey pork, optionally with soft, melt in your mouth steamed bun, at only THB 55. Be prepared for the heat and the dizzying maze but definitely a place to visit at least once.

Huge market with huge variety. It smells at some places in a bad and good way. You cannot try clothes on so I had to hope I hot the right size. Everything super cheap and you can find quality goods, just keep walking and browsing. It is definitely worth a visit. There are shops where you can choose a bag or passport cover and put a your name and/or logo on it. I put 2 clutch bags and a passport cover with logos that I chose for only 330 baht. It took around 20 min to put the logos on them. There are not many food choices and clean places to eat so go there after breakfast.

This is great and big market in Bangkok. Wear comfortable shoes and dress while you visit. Lans and streets are narrow so wheel chair or physical disable cannot pass easily. Silver, clay, wood, fabric, decoration, lights, souvenirs, coconut ice cream, food, electronics and handmade items are easily accessible. It is weekend market. Enjoy and be safe.
