Beautiful area to walk around. Love being right on the bay. Nice views and relaxing to spend time there. The stores are nice with lots of options to do your shopping and the people in the shop were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my brief time shopping.

Such a great place to walk around in the evening. Gift shops and restaurants fill the scene with the walk along the water. Makes for a great photo opt at sundown. Gift shops are a little pricey though as well as the restaurants but they are on the water and the food is great.

I can't say enough good things about Seaport Village!!! I have been coming here since I was a little kid, on our family vacations EVERY summer since the 80's!!! It literally broke my heart to hear that later this year or early next year Seaport Village will be closing. I am so grateful I got to bring my husband to San Diego and to experience Seaport Village at least once. I'm SO sad that I won't be able to take my future children here. I had always imagined that!!! I love the little shops, the yummy food, the view near the water, the sunsets walking along the water... I will miss every single thing about this GEM of a place. So sad!!!

I always love coming here, and bringing family, whenever visiting S.D. Been coming here since 1997, and sadly I heard from a shop owner that there are plans to close up Seaport Village since their contract is almost up in a year or so. There's lot's to see, and do here. Great picture taking as well. It can get chilly so take a light sweater or jacket. Parking is scarce, and it can get expensive by the hour. Ended up paying $14!! Even with getting it stamped from the shops. Plan to spend the day here since there's lots of walking, interesting shops, vendors, restaurants and sightseeing. If you have kiddos or are young at heart, there's a nice carousel to ride. Lots of great places for souvenirs. Take change in case you want to look through the looking glass scopes to see ships and other landmarks afar. A blanket is nice too, if you have time to sit and people watch, or watch the boats cruise by.

A bunch of touristy stores bunched together in the midst of ridiculously expensive parking. It has really nice views especially at sunset. Overall, it really just a nice place to dawdle around. If public transportation is convenient to you, I would suggest using it over driving. Especially on the weekend.
