Very informative and tastefully done. Well worth the price of admission! I would suggest to buy the tickets from a kiosk instead of waiting in-line to get tickets. We ordered the tickets on one of the machines and pretty much walked straight in. You will have to go through metal detectors and security but you are allowed to bring in bottles of water, which I also highly suggest since it took us several hours to walk through. Everything was in English, so if that is not your primary language, I believe you can download an app that gives a tour through depending on your language.

This is an amazing museum, which fully tells the story of the events of 9/11, as well as the 1993 World trade Center bombing. It's a huge space with tons of artifacts as well as videos, and was very tastefully done. Every time I have people visiting from out of town, I make sure to go there with them. It's made up of three floors & is very reasonably priced, especially for such a big area in Manhattan. parking is really hard to find anywhere in that area, so I recommend taking one of the many subways that stop very close by. The only reason that I'm giving it four stars rather than five is the Family Room. This is a private area for people that lost a loved one in these senseless attacks. It used to be at another location & was a decent-sized area. It's now been moved to the 3rd Floor of this museum, and has gotten much smaller. I feel that more space is needed to particularly honor these victims. I have been to this museum at least five times and get goose bumps each & every time.

This was overwhelmingly emotional for me. I was just overwhelmed with so much emotion. Being able to see actual items from that day made me feel so much more connected to the victims on a whole different level. It absolutely broke my heart and I felt like I couldn't hold in my tears. What really struck me was the special corner of photos of helpless victims jumping from the towers. It was very thorough, you could easily spend a little over 2 hours in there if you really read and observe every piece. After visiting the museum, my whole perspective about 9/11 changed and it allowed me to understand more. I thought the memorial was also a very beautiful way to remember the heroes, victims, and families effected. My prayers goes out to those effected everyday from 9/11. Regardless who is responsible for 9/11, innocent people were killed and they deserve to be commemorated.

“full of emotions, especially for the families who lost their own...” - you stand here and dive into the past. you start imagining how two long towers who were the symbol of powerful America, is no more, you start feeling sad but then you see new WTC tower who stand tall beside it and saying- " I am here forever" beautifully build. The idea, design is well executed. another monument will define NYC. 9/11 museum is nearby ( i don't understand why America always charge even for small museum, is not it supposed to be free so that people know about it, but no, first let me make business out of it) There is two water memorial, one for north and another for south tower. The guide is nearby, better hire one, he will tell you each minute details about it.

Not sure how best to describe this experience or do it the justice it deserves. It's a place you have to visit to fully appreciate the magnitude of this life changing event. The guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and leaves you wanting to know more. 45 mins I will remember for eternity, the museum is also an experience not to be missed. This awful event is not to be celebrated but understood and it leaves you inquisitive about some of the hero's from that day. Do not miss the opportunity to visit if you are fortunate enough to go to NYC.
