LIANG DONG

Used to be one of our favourite fish and chips place for a reasonable price. Went back on Sunday and expect a good experience. However, the quality has fallen off so much and charges more. The fish is dry and fishy (used to be fresh and juicy). The scallops is as tiny as finger tip and very dry. What a disappointment!

This is mostly a take away place with another Doyles restaurant just a few steps away from it. Gets super crowded over the weekends. Amazing seafood options. Grabbing the takeaway box and heading to the park for a nice picnic is a good option

Super busy place on Sundays, but we walked in and the lovely waitress just cleaned a table for us. Food is not as it was before, but still good for take-away style.

I was going to put two starts but could not think what the second star would be for. This used to be a quality and affordable alternative to Doyle's restaurant. HOWEVER, we went this evening, Boxing Day, and it was alarmingly disappointing. The service was starkingly rude, if not impatient and unhelpful. Oysters, bream special and barramundi were not fresh, the fish grilled to dry rubber. The 'fries' were raw; I made better-cooked chips as a spotty 15 year-old, served at the local chippy in 1990's. I did have a great take-away from here two years ago with my father. Sadly prices are 30% higher today and the quality/service dimished. Save your hard-earned money and cook your own fish 'n' chips.

Been here a few times. Food is always great. Can eat on the wharf or the park.
