This place is very beautiful. As the name suggests, "Hawa Mahal", there is always a cool breeze blowing through its windows. The entire structure is clean and well maintained. It is not as small as it looks from the outside. There is a courtyard, a small fountain, open corridors. The tourism department has also set up a canteen from where you can buy refreshments. In summer season, it gets really hot so avoid going there in the afternoon at that time. The view from here is great. One can see the entire Pink City and the various monuments. The hills are in the backdrop. Nahargarh fort is also a site to watch from here. It's a very unique place and you would definitely enjoy here.

Architecture is beyond a normals persons imagination....view from tops are great. Great place for photoshoots. The market around Hawa Mahal is expensive. If you can negotiate then it wont be a problem for you. Places to eat are good. Traffic is actually a real problem you will face there. The best part is near Hawa Mahal there are other palaces and museums so you don't have to travel far away...you can walk and go there and also enjoy the street life. Must visit with friends and family too. Have fun..bye.

Very historical Palace in Jaipur, amongst all the other Palace. A palace which has 365 windows. A huge palace. The queen's could not come out in the open to greet the king as he left the palace, the windows would then facilitate her to take a proper view. A must visit place in the pink city. One of the awesome heritage in India that I visited. This is the place where concept of air pressure difference is utilized and a number of small and big windows are made so that air blow with high velocity inside the palace. So it is called Hawa Mahal.
