takumi K,

Sobering museum regarding the devastation of fission bombs. Walking through should take around 1-1.5 hours. Well organized and respectful to all parties engaged in the conflict in question, use of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Most interesting part is at the end when you get to inspect relics from the bombing. Museum looks to be relatively new has a lot of space. While some other reviews mentioned that they did not like seeing Japanese children at the museum running around I think it helped enrich my experience from a westerners perspective, can't really explain why but it did. The museum also has live speaking sessions from survivors daily that are free. Overall a good, fair museum with a nice takeaway and especially relevant now considering current events. Objects from the bombing are very touching. This museum is also really cheap at only 200 yen per adult.
