My boyfriend at the time, now my husband, went to Niagara Falls a few years ago (most likely in 2012), and I must say that the meal we had at Skylon Tower, has been one of the best meals and experiences we've had ever up-to-date. We still talk about our experience there all the time. We ate at the revolving restaurant. Yes, it's a little pricey, however for the quality of food, the dishes, and service, it wasn't expensive. Loved every part of our meal/experience. Would very much recommend going there for a top-notch meal for those of you visiting Niagara Falls!

The worst dinner experience we have ever had. I took my wife there for her birthday dinner. The tables are small and you are crammed in like sardines. My wife's Cesar salad was basically Oil and we're not sure what else. It took over an hour to get our main course and when it came the steaks were raw; cold in the middle raw. The table next to us was seated about 20 minutes after us and had the appetizers and meal before we got our raw steaks. The staff's average age was probably 21 and not trained in customer service at all. We had reservations for 8:30 and arrived at the top of the tower exactly at 8:30, it took over 25 minutes to be seated. There was a small lounge that we could have waited at (as some couples were) but no one offered that to us. Because of the layout we didn't notice the bar until after we were seated. We sent our food back and decided to leave. The biggest insult of the evening was when they came with a piece of cake for my wife's birthday; we hadn't even eaten. The only good part was the view; but definitely not worth the price of food. The manager didn't care at all about our experience; but why would he, there's a line of tourists just waiting to get fleeced.

The food at the summit buffet is just like that of any other buffet, only the view makes it special (and very pricey, $30 per person plus other fees & tips) but only if your lucky to sit at the window seats. I wasn't, and I had to wait 15 min because they lost my reservation. Dessert was pretty good; I mostly ate that. Elevator ride gives you a good view of the falls. The observatory has a wired fence so you can stick your camera out and get higher. Before you go on the elevator you take a few pictures which you can buy for ~$30.

View was awesome. Really it's all you are going to get. The food was ok but for $300 for 2 adults and 2 children I would have expected more. I would definitely reconsider if you are thinking this will be a fancy dinner with a laid back environment, it is very crammed and noisy. As I said the view is what to expect and if I had to do it again I would. The experience will be a fun memory for our family for years to come.

The view is outstanding. However the food was not worth the price. With our salmon they put it over iceberg lettuce with a dressing that was primarily oil and any supermarket brand would have tasted better. The bread was cold. The tortellini tasted like something out of a TV microwave dinner. If you go there, go for the view, but not the food.
