Rooms are new but pretty basic. The buffet restaurant has a pretty good selection if they decide to open all the stations, but the small bar the hotel has much better food. It's definitely a great place to stay if you're getting the train into the canyon.

The hotel was very clean, the room was beautiful, bed super comfy with loads of pillows. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The restaurant buffet was spectacular! Very tasty, very fresh. The whole experience was one to remember and I highly recommend you stay here! We also took the train ride to the maswik Lodge, and that was booked through the hotel too, and that was quite the experience. Our train host was Annette, and was she ever great, she made the existence extra awesome! We booked in the luxury car, had great entertainment, great snacks and a great time.

Traveling with my mother for vacation. The suite is beautiful and spacious. Service has been excellent. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful (February). We booked through AAA and that was flawless. Good food at the buffet and gift shops and coffee bar that are filled with sweet things.

A great halloween experience for the whole family. Even though they offer handicap accessibility on and off the train, it was very difficult to move a wheelchair around the pumpkin patch. Staff and service was excellent. Food at the station was a little pricey. Seemed to be plenty of parking.

My family stayed here for the polar express event. The event as a whole was quite fun and was a great experience for the Christmas season. We opted for a package deal with train tickets, a room for a night, dinner tickets, and breakfast tickets and that all ran for about $500 for the family. However, I did hear through the grapevine that if bought early there are better rates as well. The buffet was very busy and I noticed that if you come during the rush times, expect a wait for a table. However, it was still good despite that. The hotel itself was quite comfortable. Overall, this was a good experience; maybe not quite one that I would want to make the investment for annually due to the expense, but definitely worth doing at least once if you have children.
